I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Utah. I will be joining the Department of Healthcare Policy & Research, Division of Comparative Effectiveness and Outcomes Research at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University as a Postdoctoral Associate in August 2019.

My research interests include the social determinants of health and healthcare, economic dimensions of substance use disorders, and the societal burden of preterm births and genetic disorders. I have also researched the impact of bundled payment reforms on physician consolidation, the provision of adequate surgical care in lower and middle-income countries, and cost-effectiveness analysis of orphan drugs.
